Oh shi-




200 nautical miles?! It makes my heart flutter to think a DDX in the Mediterranean could possibly lob shells all the way into Iraq.



edit: Interesting enough, their destroyers and cruisers use the 5" Mark 45 but the same Bofors 57mm on USCG Legend class cutters is used on our Halifax class frigates. Difference is the smaller 57mm has a higher rate of fire (220 vs 20 rounds/min) making it suitable for AA point defense.
